Number of Luns – 1
Size 10 TiB
Performance Service Level – this is dependant on how much utilization the VM will get, we will go with ‘Performance’
Apply the performance limits enforcement to each other. If unselected, these limits will be applied to the entire set of LUNs. (leave this unchecked)
Protection – Select ‘Enable Snapshot copies (local)’
Snapshot Policy – Leave this on ‘SALC_Prod_Hourly_VMSnap’
Host information
Host Operating System – Select ‘VMware’
LUN Format – Select ‘VMware VMFS’
Host Mapping – Select ‘Existing initiator group’ and the select ‘otv_ig_salc_vmware_prod_01’
Click on ‘SAVE’ which will then create the LUN which will take a couple of minutes
Once complete you can then add a datastore to the LUN.
