NetApp - Adding storage to ESXi iSCSI discovery
Login to https://vcenter02.lancaster.gov.uk/ with ~account
Click on 'Hosts and Clusters' which is the icon below
Depending on which ESX host we want to add the NetApp storage to, expand vcenter02.lancaster.gov.uk, then expand Lancaster, then expand OFS DC, you should then see a list of the Lancaster ESX hosts, similar to below
or expand vcenter02.lancaster.gov.uk, then expand Lancaster-SALC, then expand SALC DC, you should then see a list of the Salt Ayre ESX hosts, similar to below
Once you have selected one of either a Lancaster or SALC ESX host, in the main window click on 'Configure' then click on 'Storage Adapters'
Within the list of Storage Adapters click on ‘iSCSI Software Adapter’
Then click on ‘Dynamic Discovery’
Click on ‘Add’ then add the following iSCSI IP addresses and click ok to add each address:-
192.168.202.120
192.168.202.121
192.168.202.122
192.168.202.123
192.168.203.120
192.168.203.121
192.168.203.122
192.168.203.123
This will need to be completed on any existing or new ESXI hosts to allow VCenter to see the NetApp storage
