Providing Permissions for site edits.
If a user is requesting permissions to edit specific site pages on the intranet. You will first need line manager approval before making any changes. Once that has been received, you can check what permissions are required by:
1. Head to the sharepoint page in question. e.g. Repairs and maintenance.
2. Click on the settings cog in the top right corner and then "Site Permissions".
3. You can then view the AD groups with access to edit within the tabs, most of the user ones will be in the "Limited control" section.
4. You can then add the user to the AD group and after it syncs they should be able to make the amendments they want to the page.
