Network User Transfer
1. Go through the completed form and confirm the users start date.
2. Confirm with their New Line manager whether they are staying on in their old role or whether this is a Full and permanent Transfer.
3. Prepare any equipment if it was requested and arrange the appointment to hand it over. Not all transfers have equipment requests associated.
4. Send the Transfer form details to hradmin@lancaster.gov.uk to make them aware if they had not been notified.
4. Wait for Transfer Start Date
5. On the official start date for their new role. Amend the users permissions to fit the new role.
i. If they are leaving their old position, remove the permissions for the previous post and then add the new permissions that are required.
ii. if they are not leaving their old position, just add the new permissions that are required without removing any.
6. Handover any equipment that may have been requested and update the asset register.
