Where are my shared files saved from Teams chats?
Files you have shared – these are stored in your OneDrive, these contain any changes that have been made by any users since uploading it to Teams chat
OneDrive – Lancaster City Council\Microsoft Teams Chat Files
This can be accessed through File explorer or through the ‘OneDrive’ option in the Teams client
Files shared with you – these can be accessed either through OneDrive on the web (www.office.com sign in then Apps\OneDrive)
Select ‘Shared’ from the Left-Hand menu and then the ‘with you’ tab at the top of the file list. This will show you the document, when it was shared, who by and specifies ‘shared this in a teams chat’. The columns can be sorted and there is a search function to make locating the document easy.
Or again from the Teams Client ‘OneDrive’ then under OneDrive select ‘shared’
