How to Calibrate I.D Printer
Manually selecting the ribbon (when the printer has been to Lesar for servicing; may also be required when a new ribbon is installed):
Log on with ~/! account and run prgram as administrator.
1.
Open up the print centre and double click on your printer (after enabling supervision this should allow you to access the settings of the printer
- if the boxes came up in grey and don't allow you to edit, the app will need to be run as an administrator which may need admin access)
2.
Once you've double clicked on your printer it should come up with a new page (please see snippet attached)
3.
Select the Printing drop down box > click on ribbon > manually select ribbon type (there should be a white sticker on your ribbon which will tell
you what type of ribbon it is, I believe you have the YMCKO colour ribbon)
Once the ribbon has been manually selected, you will need to do some calibrations. To do a colour calibration go into the Evolis Print Center > click on the 'maintenance' tab
> select 'printer commands prompting' > enter the following command: Sa;c in the printer command box and click send (please see image attached) To do a ribbon calibration its the same process but with the command: Sa;r instead and finally for the complete
sensor adjustment of all the rollers the command is Sa (when doing the complete sensor adjustment, once you have sent the command to the printer and the Power button starts to flash you will need to open up the lid of the printer and then close it after 5
seconds. The input hopper will then take in a card (please ensure that a card is present in the card hopper for this). Once the card has been ejected in the output hopper and the power button light is solid please send a test card.)
